Background
Lucid Dog Training is a small business in Lake Oswego owned by Chris and Katie Wojda. Over time they built a small but dedicated client base which spread mostly through word of mouth. As an account planner, Chris knew the importance of advertising and came to PSU to find a way to expand faster.
Insights
Our planners identified and found guiding insights for three kinds of pooches: puppies, adults, and problem dogs. With these insights in mind, we created a campaign which would resonate strongly with each of these dog owners, Ready. Set. Train.
Concept
Written from the view of mischievous dogs, our campaign sought to remind dog owners of the times their pet wasn't exactly their best friend and gently mention that training is always an option.
We also designed doggie bag dispensers that would be placed in popular dog parks in the area. Congratulatory gift cards were also made to give to new dog owners.
Conclusion
Lucid was a wonderful client to have. Working with others on such a short time limit helped deepen my appreciation of the other disciplines and the fantastic people in them. Hopefully, I'll be able to write as a sassy dog again.
